Ecuadorian pianist Aarón Ormaza Vera currently resides in the Netherlands and studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Frank van de Laar where he is pursuing a Master degree in Piano Performance.
As part of his professional activities, Aarón performs both as a soloist and as a collaborative pianist, which has brought to him the opportunity of playing in some of the most important venues in the Netherlands. He is a prizewinner of the 8th YPF European Piano Competition (the Netherlands), the IX Stasys Vainiūnas Competition for Pianists and Chamber Ensembles (Lithuania), and the International Student LiedDuo Competition in Groningen (the Netherlands).
Aarón obtained his Bachelor degree in his home country in 2016, which was followed up by a successful audition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of the renowned pedagogue Jan Wijn. Professor Wijn guided Aaron towards the completion of his second Bachelor degree in 2020.
